From her mentality towards her character, Mukherjee wouldn't like to keep by the Hindu convention. She is defiant against her own way of life despite the fact that she comprehends Hindu custom denies any digestion with some other culture. After her marriage with an American of Canadian starting point, she had tough time embracing the new condition in Canada. Individuals in Canada consider her to be a â€Å"visible minority† as a result of her race that she isn't white. She commented America as promi sing country of majority rules system and balance; nonetheless, America despite everything has numerous imperfections on the conflict of ethnic issues. Since they are not white, they are ordered as being â€Å"Asian-American†.
